Sports Field and Arena

Klostergårdens Idrottsplats

Lund, 1961

Koistinen & Nyberg

Built from the surplus soil of local building sites, Nyberg and Koistinen formed two massive artificial earth mounds to enclose a sport field. The first phase of hockey rink would be later supplemented with an arena, lighting and seating built into the slop of the earthen forms. The field has since been demolished.
